workshop located in Carrum Downs,
Victoria.

When it comes
to the performance car business there is no time for pretenders.
Many shops have come and gone over the years and most of the time
they've shut down because they just couldn't keep up with the
latest trends and developments, or they just couldn't provide
customers with high quality work to match their
dollars.
Gary and his
Chev's Performance business however are knocking on 26 years of age
in 2011 and despite coming from humble beginnings , their
commitment and dedication to the V8 scene has seen them continue to
be recognised as one of the top shops in the
country.
Chev's Auto
Repairs Pty. Ltd. started way back in 1985 with the first shop
behind an Ampol service station in Cheltenham with only three work
bays. In 1988 they moved to Aster Ave. Carrum Downs, then in
2008 built the new workshop virtually right next door with double
the room to accommodate for the ever expanding customer
base.

and Expertises
With a Dyno
Dynamics chassis 2WD dyno and HP tuners VCM suite PCM programmer,
Chev’s can offer all Commodore LS1/LS2/LS3/L98/L76/L77 engine
modifications from camshaft changes to supercharges or just a PCM
tune which gives the engine more power and greatly reduces fuel
consumption.
Also with Motec
and Autronic software, we can tune your most valuable possession.
With onsite exhaust modifications, we can obtain correct air/fuel
ratios for all engine loads and conditions.
 
We are able to
diagnose all engine and transmission related problems, whether it
may be towing your boat up Pretty Sally or performing a maximum
power run. The dyno is a fantastic workshop tool. Give us a call or

Engine rebuilds
are another specialty. From a stock engine to a fully blown big
block, we can blueprint and assemble any high performance
engine.
Chev's
Performance Centre is an authorized VACC workshop for all
your handbook servicing on all makes and models. We are an
agent for Oleon lubricants, NGK spark plugs, Top
Gun high energy leads and Oleon engine products. With an
in house disc brake lathe, we have all your brake related
problems covered. Computerized invoicing and comprehensive vehicle
report, your car will have a safe bill of health.
